Doors Opening Correctly

Believe it or not the way a door opens does matter. In some cases the wrong opening of a door can obstruct a walkway. You need to think about the flow of the room and entering/exiting a room when deciding the direction of the door. During the building process, take a walk through your new home and just double check that the doors open the direction you want them to open. If space is limited you may want to consider pocket or even sliding doors. Sliding barn doors are a big design element right now and would solve the problem in the image below.
